I teach beginner to beginner intermediate aerial classes. You don't have to know how to do a pull-up or climb a rope, and everyone starts from the ground to prevent injury. Mambo Dinamico Showcase 2015

An aerial silk performance for the Mambo Dinamico Showcase. Since 2002 Mambo Dinamico Dance Company, led by director Betto Herrera, has been fostering the love of Latin dance and music through instruction, performance, social gatherings and special events in the Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill areas.

About Me

I am an aerialist that currently resides in Raleigh, NC. For those that are unfamiliar with the term aerialist, an aerialist is a person who performs aerial acrobatics sometimes with various apparatuses, such as long strands of fabric, trapeze, tightrope, metal hoops, etc.

I discovered aerial dance six years ago in Athens, GA, and later continued training under various artists in Wilmington, NC, Georgia, and RTP. I have performed at dance socials for Wilmington Latin Dance, on the USS North Carolina Battleship for 2015, and now at the Rickhouse for the Mambo Dinamico’s 5th annual showcase. I love to dance, perform, and share knowledge and talents with other people.

Do you have questions about flying?

When should I pay?

Payments are made before class.

How can I pay?

You can pay with cash or card.

How do I sign up/set up a class?

Send me a message via email, instragram, or facebook to setup and appointment. However, everyone must sign a waiver before flying with me.

What should I wear?

Please wear comfortable athletic clothing that is preferably tight with full coverage, such as leggings, spandex, under armour, etc.

When should I arrive?

Please arrive on time or a few minutes early. Important parts of the lesson are stretching and warming up. Pulling a muscle would not let you fly with me.

What should I expect during the lesson?

You should expect at least 15 minutes of stretching and warming up before any flying. After that, I will teach you how to climb, dance, split, pose, and tie knots in the air! The last 10 minutes are for a cool down.

Do I need prior experience for this class?

Nope! I teach beginners to intermediates. You don't have to know how to do a pull-up or climb a rope, and everyone starts from the ground to prevent injury.
